Wow . . . Bloggers Rock!!
I am all smiles, blown away by all of the love and warm welcomes I am receiving from my new blogger friends. J What an awesome community you are!
Big hugs to my gorgeous sister, Nick (Nicole, Nicki D), for plugging my blog on her awesome blog, One Significant Moment at a Time on her Facebook, and her twitter (I think, not a tweeter myself YET). Sharing all that we share, our passion for writing and now blogging, means the world to me. You truly are an amazing sister and I love you!
To all of my new followers and friends: I am having a blast visiting your blogs & reading through your posts. Already I am inspired by you.
If you haven’t heard from me yet, you will. I’ve been working hard trying to learn how to navigate the site & visit everyone. I feel I should add a note about some trouble I am having viewing some of your blogs. I am visually impaired and use the accessibility options to view webpages. Some blogs with special html are coming out blank on my computer, and I can’t read the posts on those blogs. I have to play around with my settings & possibly update my web browser. Hopefully, I’ll be able to work out the kinks so I don’t miss out on anyone’s brilliant posts!
Just love being here! Thanks again for making me feel right at home <3
I wish you the best with your new blog and your writing. Having Nicole as a writer-sister must be great support. Nobody in my family writes.
ReplyDeleteIt's so great to have you in the bloggy neighborhood! Love ya, sis!
ReplyDelete@Nick - LOL Thanks, sis - it's a great neighborhood to belong to!
ReplyDelete@ Theresa ~ Aw, I'm sorry you're the only writer in your family. It is wonderful having Nicole by my side in my writing journey. Thank goodness for blogging . . . so we all can share & support each other in our respective writing journeys. :)
Best of luck with your new blog. This blogging community is amazing, you will love it!

ReplyDeleteWelcome to blogtopia! I love Nic, thus any sister of hers is a friend of mine.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lola
Noelle, I just listened to your post by pasting it into a reader (Natural Reader 10, best one I've found!) I did that because for some reason my toolbar extension doesn't seem to be visible all of a sudden will have to check that out but while it's not perfect (haven't figured out yet how to stop it reading every letter of hotlinks *laugh* there are options out there to help you cut down on your reading time and save your eyes as much as possible for more writing!
ReplyDeleteHope you find all the ones that work for you. It's never an exact science but I find that the reader especially makes revising easier as I can have my work read back to me, even if I'm one of those people who can't seem to get the hang of writing by dictation.
Again, welcome!
~bru
(PS, yes, just double checked, and at least for my blog the way it's formatted, the program will read posts to you so you don't have to look! Just an option for you to keep in mind- I think this program cost me fifty dollars (there are more expensive versions but two voices were enough for me, though I chose the British ones! :~) and it really, really helps me since there is such a finite amount of time per day I can use what remains of my sight.)

Please let me know if you have trouble with my blog--I'm such a non techie, I don't really know what you meant.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the blogosphere!
Nicole sent me and I wanted to bring something as a welcome gift but... can you imagine a fine treat? That's what I brought. Welcome :)
ReplyDeleteJules @ Trying To Get Over The Rainbow
Thank you~ I am delighted to meet you all! You all have brought smiles to my face this morning! :) I'm trying not to get too overwhelmed--I want to visit you all RIGHT NOW, but I don't want to rush through too fast and miss anything or anyone! Like I mentioned in my post, I have low vision and it slows me down, so thank you for your understanding and patience while I make my rounds and get acquainted with each of my new bloggie friends!
ReplyDeleteBru~ That is EXACTLY what I need! I must learn more about that program. I think that will be the only way I can survive in the blogosphere & STILL WRITE! lol From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the info!
I think your settling in just fine! This community is like chicken soup...good for what ales you and keeps you grounded at the same time. It can be overwhelming at times, trying to get around to everyone, but just approach it at a pace your comfortable with and we'll adjust to you. :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the blogosphere, Noelle! Can't wait to read more of you ;o)
ReplyDeleteWelcome to blogland, Noelle!
ReplyDelete- Sophia.
Welcome to the blogging world! :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome to blogging! I started not that long ago too and it's a lot of fun :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on starting your blog! :-)
